Established in 1944, www⁄Noi donne is an Italian monthly magazine. Up until 1990, it served as the Union of Women’s (UDI) official publication. Over the course of its existence, it has published many prominet Italian feminist thinkers and activists. In 1969 its legal structure was converted into a cooperative of female editors. The journal saw its period of greatest dissemination throughout the 1970s, peaking at 600,000 copies each issue, covering issues such as the fights for divorce, abortion, maternity protection, and equal pay.
